UV Resistant

Natural stone does not fade. No color loss from years of sun exposure. The iridescent shimmer actually becomes more pronounced over time.

Zero Maintenance

No sealing. No annual treatments. Wine, grease, and food spills wipe clean because of the near-zero porosity. Just rinse with a garden hose.

All-Weather

0.06% water absorption. 100+ freeze-thaw cycles. Your patio looks the same in January as it does in July. Salt, ice, rain, nothing phases this stone.

Unique Character

Labradorite displays an iridescent play of color called labradorescence. Every paver catches light differently. No two installations look the same.

Patio Paver FAQ

Are granite pavers good for outdoor patios?
Granite is one of the best materials for outdoor patios. Black Ice L7 Labradorite pavers are naturally resistant to staining, fading, and moisture damage. The 0.06% water absorption rate means they will not crack during freeze-thaw cycles, and the splitface texture provides excellent traction. They require no sealing and virtually no maintenance.
How many square feet does one pallet cover?
One pallet of Black Ice L7 pavers covers 269 square feet, which is approximately the size of a 16 x 17 foot patio. Each pallet weighs about 3,866 lbs. For a standard 300 to 400 square foot patio, plan for 1.5 to 2 pallets. We recommend ordering 5% to 10% extra for cuts and waste.
Will black granite pavers get too hot in the sun?
The splitface texture of Black Ice L7 pavers helps dissipate heat more effectively than polished or smooth surfaces. While all dark stone absorbs some solar heat, the natural cleft finish stays cooler than polished black granite. In direct summer sun, the surface will be warm but typically comfortable for foot traffic.
Can I install granite pavers around a fire pit?
Yes. Labradorite granite has excellent heat resistance. Black Ice L7 pavers are an ideal surround for fire pits and outdoor fireplaces. The dark stone creates a dramatic backdrop for flames, and the material will not crack, discolor, or degrade from radiant heat. Many of our customers use them specifically for fire pit areas.
