What the stone is
Natural labradorite, a dark igneous stone the stone trade sells as granite. It comes from one quarry, Neverovka, in the Zhytomyr region of Ukraine, and was imported directly to our warehouse in Ohio.
The datasheet gives water absorption of 0.06 to 0.26% and compressive strength of 24,200 to 31,300 PSI. The top is split face: rough, not polished.
Patios, fire pits and dining areas
At 1 inch thick the pavers are made for foot traffic: a patio, a dining area, the ring around a fire pit, a courtyard or a terrace. Around a fire pit, ask your installer how to keep direct flame and heat off the stone.
They are not for driveways or parking pads. Anything with wheels needs stone two inches thick or more.
Who lays it
We sell the stone, not the installation. Your installer decides the base for your yard and lays the pavers. Already have a concrete slab? Read pavers over concrete.

- Is it real granite?
- It is natural stone, not concrete. Geologically it is labradorite, a dark igneous rock. In the stone trade it is sold under the granite name.
- How many pavers are in a square foot?
- About 4.65. Each paver is 7.87 x 3.94 inches, and one pallet of about 1,250 pavers covers 269 sq ft.
- Can I buy less than a pallet?
- Not through this site. The minimum order is one pallet, 269 sq ft.
- Does the price include delivery?
- No. Freight depends on your ZIP and on how the truck gets unloaded. We quote it by email before you pay anything.
- Can these pavers go on a driveway?
- No. One inch granite is not rated for vehicle loads. A driveway needs stone two inches thick or more.
- Can I see the stone before I buy?
